An exceptional opportunity for a seasoned luxury hospitality leader to oversee one of Southern California’s most celebrated chef-driven fine-dining restaurants within a Forbes Five-Star resort environment.
This role is designed for a proven Luxury Hotel Restaurant General Manager with a demonstrated track record leading Forbes Five Star, Michelin Star or Michelin-level dining experiences, elevated service cultures, and highly refined guest journeys.
This is not a first-time General Manager opportunity. We are seeking an established leader who has already operated at the Restaurant GM level within an ultra-luxury hotel or resort setting and understands the precision required to perform inside a Forbes Five-Star ecosystem.
Ultra-luxury experience is absolutely essential.
Position Overview
The Restaurant General Manager will serve as the strategic and operational leader of a flagship fine-dining restaurant, partnering closely with executive culinary leadership to deliver exceptional experiences at the highest level of luxury hospitality.
This leader will oversee:
- Full restaurant P&L accountability
- Forbes Five-Star service execution
- Michelin-level dining standards
- Floor leadership and VIP guest engagement
- Talent development and succession planning
- Financial performance and labor optimization
- Service timing, presentation, and dining room choreography
- Cross-functional collaboration with culinary, wine, reservations, and resort leadership

Key Leadership Responsibilities
- Lead all front-of-house operations for a luxury hotel fine-dining restaurant
- Drive Forbes Five-Star and Michelin Star level service standards
- Ensure flawless execution of multi-course dining experiences, wine pairings, VIP tastings, and special events
- Own guest satisfaction, service recovery, and memorable “wow” moments
- Develop leaders, managers, captains, sommeliers, and service teams
- Maintain exceptional standards for ambiance, music, lighting, cleanliness, and dining room readiness
- Manage payroll, labor costs, scheduling, forecasting, and profitability
- Partner with culinary leadership to ensure menu knowledge, pacing, and guest storytelling are executed flawlessly
- Deliver strong financial performance through strategic revenue growth and expense control
- Lead daily lineups, service coaching, and ongoing luxury service development
- Uphold all safety, sanitation, and compliance standards
Required Background
Must Have
- Current or recent Restaurant General Manager experience within a luxury hotel or ultra-luxury resort
- Significant experience in Forbes Five-Star, Michelin Star, Michelin-level or ultra-luxury fine-dining environments
- Proven success leading luxury hotel restaurant teams
- Strong financial acumen with deep P&L ownership
- Exceptional floor presence and guest engagement skills
- Experience leading affluent, VIP, and high-expectation clientele environments
- Advanced knowledge of wine service, tasting menus, and elevated guest sequencing
- Strong team-building, coaching, and succession planning background
- Excellent communication and leadership presence
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
Non-Negotiables
- No first-time GMs
- Ultra-luxury hospitality experience is required
- Fine-Dining restaurant leadership experience is required
- Must be authorized to work in the United States

Certifications & Compliance
- Certified Food Protection Manager (CFPM / ServSafe Manager) preferred; required upon hire
- California Responsible Beverage Service (RBS) Certification required upon hire
- Strong knowledge of allergen management, dietary restrictions, and luxury service compliance
- Deep familiarity with California health, sanitation, and alcohol service regulations
