Restaurant Kitchen Manager Apply
Objective
To lead kitchen staff and subsequent employees of our Client to deliver a high level of food quality to each guest whether choosing to dine in or carryout with us. To operate with a strong code of ethics and be an example of company's values. To provide a sanitary and clean working environment for all employees. Kitchen Manager is to be responsible for the items below, but not limited to, based on management direction:
Primary Responsibilities
- Ensure Guest food quality
- Hiring cooks, prep cooks and dishwashers with management approval
- Training of cooks, prep cooks and dishwashers
- Training progress & recap of each individual during & after training
- Weekly schedules reviewed and posted by appropriate times; cooks, prep cooks, dishwashers
- Maintains uniforms standards; cooks, prep cooks, dishwashers
- Weekly kitchen training pre-shift topics presented to management team in weekly meeting
- Meat counts are completed and reconciled by appropriate times
- Weekly food quality related pre-shift topics presented to management team in weekly meeting
- Shift execution within company guidelines for ticket times and recipe adherence
- Maintain health inspection readiness and follow up
- Weekly food inventory completed by appropriate times
- Weekly food & supply ordering completed by appropriate times
- Utilization of purchase tracker for ordering food & supplies
- Utilization of on hands for ordering food & supplies to ensure not 86'ing product
- Weekly food & supply invoices and checks completed by appropriate times
- Maintain food cost at or below company budget
