Are you an experienced leader in the hospitality industry with a passion for exceptional customer service? An established full-serve restaurant chain has asked us to find a dedicated and dynamic Assistant Manager to join their team! This role is perfect for someone looking to advance their career in restaurant management and make an impact in a thriving dining establishment where sales, profits, and number of locations are all showing growth.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist the General Manager in overseeing daily operations of the full-serve restaurant.

- Provide leadership and guidance to the restaurant staff, ensuring top-notch customer service.

- Train, mentor, and motivate team members to achieve high performance standards.

- Handle customer inquiries and resolve complaints in a professional manner.

- Monitor inventory levels and work with vendors to ensure timely delivery of necessary supplies.

- Implement and maintain food safety and sanitation standards.

- Analyze financial data, including sales, labor, and inventory reports to maximize profitability.

- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations by overseeing and enforcing company policies.

- Support in scheduling staff to optimize labor efficiency while maintaining service quality.

- Participate in marketing initiatives and community events to increase restaurant visibility and customer loyalty.

Qualifications:

- Minimum of 1 year of experience as an assistant management within a full-serve restaurant environment.

- No more than 2 employers in the last 5 years or 3 in the last 9 years. (Exceptions for closed or sold restaurants).

- Strong leadership and organizational skills with the ability to manage, motivate, and train a diverse team.

- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to handle high-stress situations effectively.

- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.

- Self-motivation.

- Ability to oversee inventory control and perform basic financial tasks.

- Creative ability to work with the community and build sales.

- Knowledge of finances, budgetting, and accounting within restaurants.
