Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately process prescriptions, handle insurance adjudications, and resolve claim rejections
• Prepare, package, and label medications for pharmacist verification
• Perform data entry and manage prescription paperwork efficiently
• Communicate professionally with patients, providers, and internal teams
• Maintain precise inventory through cycle counts, restocking, and expiration monitoring
• Assist with medication returns, quarantines, and destruction procedures
• Cross-train in multiple pharmacy functions to provide comprehensive support
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA, Medicare/Medicaid, and insurance regulations

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• High School diploma or GED required; confirm highest education level during screening
• PTCB certification and valid Florida pharmacy technician license in good standing highly preferred
• Minimum 2 years of pharmacy technician experience, retail experience specifically required—hospital experience is not suitable
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and comfortable making phone calls
• Strong multitasking, organization, and time management capabilities
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration
