This position will oversee operations of our sprawling 50,000+ square foot retail space, which includes a Café and our Guest Services team. Your role is pivotal in ensuring a seamless retail experience across all product categories while prioritizing guest satisfaction. From strategic planning to staff management, your responsibilities span a wide range of tasks aimed at optimizing sales and fostering a world-class shopping destination. Reporting directly to the Vice President of Retail & Company Culture, you'll play a key role in shaping our retail vision.
Responsibilities
- Lead the operation of a vibrant retail environment featuring diverse product categories, from apparel to electronics, fostering high levels of guest engagement.
- Contribute to strategic planning efforts, aligning retail goals with overall company objectives.
- Develop an annual retail sales plan and event calendar, collaborating closely with the marketing team to drive sales and enhance guest experiences.
- Manage financial objectives by creating and maintaining budgets, analyzing financial records, and implementing corrective measures as needed.
- Coordinate with Operations and Strategic Initiatives teams to optimize inventory levels and space management plans.
- Oversee visual merchandising strategies aligned with retail objectives to enhance the guest shopping experience.
- Provide detailed reports on buying trends, sales performance, and guest demographics.
- Foster a culture consistent with the company's values, including recruiting, hiring, and developing a service-minded team.
- Set performance goals, monitor individual performance, and provide ongoing training and support.
- Motivate and reward team members to achieve sales objectives and deliver exceptional guest experiences.
- Develop strategic initiatives to attract new customers, increase store traffic, and enhance profitability.
- Address guest complaints and concerns professionally, prioritizing guest satisfaction.
- Lead retail initiatives with a focus on asset protection and loss prevention.
Requirements
- Customer service-oriented with a solid understanding of business management processes.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in reporting and analytics, as well as computer database and productivity software.
- Track record of effectively leading and training team members across various departments.
- Strong grasp of sales and customer service techniques.
- Ability to work within budgets while maintaining high standards.

Education and Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or related field preferred.
- 7+ years of retail management experience.
