rovides comprehensive pharmaceutical care in a community-focused independent pharmacy setting. Under the direction of the Chief Clinical Officer, this role is responsible for overseeing all retail pharmacy operations, ensuring safe and effective medication use, delivering personalized patient care, and supporting the overall health and well-being of the local community.

• Compound, dispense, and verify prescribed medications accurately

• Review prescriptions for appropriateness, dosing, and interactions

• Provide patient counseling on medication use, side effects, and storage

• Oversee pharmacy technicians and interns in compliance with state and federal regulations

• Maintain inventory control, procurement, and proper storage of medications

• Ensure compliance with quality assurance, controlled substance, and safety regulations

• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare professionals to optimize patient care

• Active California Pharmacist License (required)

• BS in Pharmacy or PharmD from an ACPE-accredited school

• Current BLS certification

• Minimum 2 years of retail or community pharmacy experience

• Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local pharmacy regulations

• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills

• Contract length: 13 weeks

• EMR: Cerner

• Facility: Critical Access Hospital (22 acute beds, 99 LTC beds)

• Facility Rate: $60/hr (All Inclusive)
