Job Description

Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Director of Pharmacy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Lead the pharmacy operations as a Pharmacy Manager in a dynamic retail environment. This opportunity offers flexibility with either an interim role (3-6 months) or a permanent position, focusing on delivering excellent patient care while managing all aspects of pharmacy performance and compliance.

Location:

  • Ogdensburg, NY

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday: 9:00 AM 7:00 PM
  • Saturday: 9:00 AM 3:00 PM
  • Closed Sundays

Key Responsibilities:

  • Register as supervising pharmacist or pharmacist in charge with the state board of pharmacy.
  • Maintain compliance with all federal, state, board of pharmacy regulations, and company policies.
  • Oversee pharmacy operations including budget, payroll, third-party administration, staffing, and inventory management.
  • Manage pharmacy personnel, conduct performance reviews, provide training, and ensure completion of required company training.
  • Engage in business development within the store and the local community.
  • Deliver patient-centered services such as immunizations, medication therapy management (MTM), and wellness programs.
  • Counsel patients and healthcare providers on medication use, dosage, drug interactions, and side effects.
  • Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives to ensure patient safety.
  • Maintain an organized and professional pharmacy environment.
  • Complete continuing education requirements per state law.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Active NY State Pharmacist License
  • Immunization Certification with confidence administering all vaccines
  • Recent experience as a Pharmacy Manager preferred
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
