Retail Sales Education Specialist Apply
Summary:
- This role is not tied to a specific address because it is a field role.
- The person will be travelling throughout the territory and visiting various retailers. The candidates are eligible for one-way mileage reimbursement (home to store) as well as parking for store visits.
- Additionally, this position requires the candidate to have a reliable car.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Watch, analyse, and drive sales in Sephora, ULTA and Macys locations throughout their designated territories.
- Universally educate Sephora, ULTA and Macys staff on all products and selling techniques through store visits
- Establish strong and lasting relationships within Sephora, ULTA and Macys leadership and associates, in addition to account executives and staff from other competing brands to gauge and investigate sales performances against competitors
- Maintain knowledge of the trends of individual business segments and all the main business drives within each segment in the Sephora, ULTA and Macys world
- Use all connections to expand belief business whether that is through more doors, data or larger client base
- Build client bases in belief doors, especially core belief doors, to raise sales.
- Coach store associates to increase sales by making sure they are fulfilling all of their responsibilities.
- Teach associates how to maximize productivity by developing selling skills, customer service skills, booking events and product demonstrations
- Prep materials for events and other promotional programs or strategies to maximize sales numbers
- Manage daily, monthly, and seasonal tracking of total retail performance within territory and all reporting
MUST HAVE:
- 2+ years' experience in the retail beauty/ cosmetic environment required.
- You will be hourly-based ($25 an hour) and work a minimum of 24-30 hours per week in store- Weekly 1-1 TB (Monday) with National Field Manager/ 2-3 hours desk work per week/ 4-5x days in store to support sales growth, education, and training for retail partners and in store events for the sales growth of belief. Friday, Saturday, Sunday are dedicated to retailer visits and sales support.
- Must be willing to travel throughout the San Francisco/ Bay Area to visit retail stores
- Proficient in Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
