Portables, an AT&T Authorized Retailer, is the number one retailer in America for the world's largest telecommunications and entertainment company servicing the community.Retail Team Managers are expected to represent the company in the most professional way possible. They teach and create leaders for the future, while making decisions to keep the Company's interests first. Managers are expected to create a productive work environment and are responsible for the development and performance of all sales activities within their location. They are expected to develop the Sales Team as well as provide leadership towards the achievement of maximum profitability and growth in line with the Company's values and vision. Managers must also manage the operational tasks of the store to ensure its day-to-day functioning remains effective and efficient.Some Responsibilities:Perform as a role model for all employees in the locationAchieve personal sales goals as well as assist employees with closing sales and customer serviceDrive sales performance (Wireless & AT&T TV) through coaching and trainingAT&T TV product knowledge checksStay up to date on all industry information and technologyMaintain and enforce all visual, housekeeping, and appearance standardsMaintain all location operations, including but limited to inventory, daily paperwork, schedules, and loss preventionConduct employee reviews, meetings, and trainingRequirements:Must have a valid driver's licenseAbility to work at least 45 hours work weekReliable transportationExcellent problem-solving skillsEstablish and monitor store/kiosk work schedulesAbility to interpret and analyze sales and commission reportsTrain, motivate and inspire a team to achieve maximum resultsEnsure audit compliance at all times as required by the carrierMust be at least 18 years of age1-2 years of wireless sales management3-4 years of wireless sales experienceCollege Degree Preferred, High School Diploma, or GED Required
