About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented and organized Returns Associate to join our logistics team.

In this role, you will be the primary point of contact for all incoming product returns. You will be responsible for inspecting returned goods, accurately recording data in our Warehouse Management System (WMS), and collaborating with the inventory team to ensure our stock levels remain precise.

The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment and understands that every return is an opportunity to maintain our high standards of quality and customer trust.

Key Responsibilities

Inbound Processing: Receive daily returns from various carriers; unpack and sort items based on condition and category.

WMS Management: Accurately log all returned items into the Warehouse Management System (WMS); update order statuses and ensure data integrity.

Quality Control: Inspect products for wear, damage, or defects to determine if they can be restocked, refurbished, or disposed of.

Inventory Coordination: Work closely with the Inventory and Procurement teams to report discrepancies, stock shortages, or recurring product issues.

Organization: Maintain a clean and efficient returns workstation to ensure a safe and productive flow of goods.

Requirements

Experience: Previous experience in a warehouse, retail, or logistics environment is preferred.

Tech-Savvy: Proficiency with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) or similar inventory software.

Attention to Detail: Ability to spot minor defects and accurately input complex SKU data.

Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to [Insert Weight, e.g., 40 lbs] regularly.

Communication: Strong interpersonal skills to effectively coordinate with team members across departments.

Problem-Solving: A proactive approach to identifying why items are being returned and suggesting improvements
