Overview:
Responsible for directing and coordinating the functions of the companys revenue cycle for the Pediatric Division. Ensures compliance with regulations and contracts
Responsible for leading the Pediatrics RCM Function and Directing the following processes and associated RCM Pediatrics teams:

EDUCATION: Knowledge, Skills, Experience Required - Requires formal knowledge of medical billing. Knowledge of behavioral therapy billing is a plus. - Understanding of requirements and regulations set forth by commercial insurance contracts. - Communications often dealing with sensitive, confidential issues aimed at collecting and reconciling various resident accounts. - Must be able to clearly communicate their expertise concerning any number of billing issues, requiring advanced oral and written skills.
PERFORMANCE EXPECTATIONS: Principal Responsibilities and Duties. These statements reflect the general duties considered necessary to describe the principal functions of the job as identified and shall not be considered a detailed description of work requirements that may be involved.
Pay rate range is $90,000 - $100,000.
Responsible for leading the Pediatrics RCM Function and Directing the following processes and associated RCM Pediatrics teams:
- Request for Insurance Verification (RIV), Prior Authorization Team, Billing and Collections, and RCM Customer Service
- Managing RCM Pediatrics relationships with outsourced vendors. Responsible for ensuring vendor is correctly completing their work in accordance with the signed contracts
- Responsible for Directing billed claims/invoices using the A/R software
- Responsible for preparation and analysis of timely A/R reports related to receivables.
- Responsible for ensuring the billing of all co-insurance and private pay claims related to pediatric clinic and school billings
- Responsible for subsequent or delinquent follow up billings and phone calls related to co-insurance and private pay claims
- Manages credentialing requirements for Pediatric operations
- Responsible for the accurate and timely preparation and submission of all reports required by management
- Responsible for directing the follow up with the therapists, rehab managers or area managers concerning billing issues, to ensure the timely preparation of all invoices.
- Responsible for communication with customers concerning billing, collection and reconciliation of invoices.
