Advance Gov Partners is seeking a skilled RFP/Government Proposal Writer to join our team. This crucial role involves crafting compelling proposals for government contracts related to travel and tourism services. You will work closely with our management team and other departments to ensure that our proposals align with governmental requirements and showcase our capabilities effectively.

As a Government Proposal Writer, you will be responsible for researching and understanding the needs of government agencies, developing proposal content, coordinating responses from various team members, and ensuring that all submissions meet deadlines. This position offers an excellent opportunity to leverage your writing skills while contributing to the growth of our business within the public sector.

Responsibilities

  • Research and analyze government solicitations to understand requirements and evaluation criteria
  • Develop well-organized, persuasive, and compliant proposal content that clearly articulates our services
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance, operations, and client services, to gather information and ensure accuracy
  • Edit and proofread proposals to ensure high quality and adherence to guidelines
  • Maintain a repository of past proposals and supporting materials for efficient reuse
  • Track proposal submissions and follow up with agencies as necessary
  • Stay updated on government contracting regulations

 

Requirements

 

  • Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, Business, or a related field
  • 3+ years of experience in proposal writing, preferably for government contracts
  • Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to meet strict deadlines
  • Familiarity with government procurement processes and RFPs
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and proposal management software
  • Strong organizational and project management skills
