Our Enterprise Risk Office is recruiting for an Enterprise risk manager with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to see situations from various sides.
Our Enterprise Risk Management Office plays a crucial role in safeguarding the organization's operations and objectives by identifying, assessing, and mitigating potential risks. The team develops and implements a comprehensive Enterprise Risk Mitigation Plan, encompassing risk assessments, mitigation strategies, and annual monitoring and reporting. As a liaison between the agency and external stakeholders, the Enterprise Risk Management Office ensures risk mitigation alignment with state requirements and best practices. It supports internal control activities, fraud prevention efforts, and insurance management, working closely with other agency departments to integrate risk management into all aspects of operations.

Duties
Reporting to the Enterprise Risk Officer, the Risk Manager, will help manage enterprise risk, serve as the Agency Inventory Control Officer, and manage and coordinate efforts for an agency response to subpoenas, litigation holds, tort claims, and discovery requests, in coordination with other agencies and program areas. The work you do will directly contribute to the agency's ability to identify, assess, and mitigate risks that could impact its operations and objectives. Bringing innovation to your role will be fundamental to your success as you will be responsible for making both strategic and tactical decisions where there may not have an existing source document or identified process to follow, and may require research, analysis, and interpretation of industry best practices. Your recommendations and decisions are centered around ensuring operations remain sustainable and equitable.

Education to experience equivalency
Associate degree = 2 years Bachelor's degree = 4 years
*Education may be used for a maximum of four (4) years of combined education and experience.
