Develops nursing expertise and fosters empowerment through knowledge to achieve excellence through the delivery of evidenced-based clinical practice. This occurs through the facilitation of the educational process through assessment, development, planning, implementation and evaluation of competency assessment, and continuing education.What You Will Do:Provides staff development expertise as an educator, consultant, and facilitator for clinic, hospital, and long term care.Supports the development of the nursing staff and fosters empowerment through knowledge to achieve excellence through the delivery of evidenced-based clinical practice. This occurs through the facilitation of the educational process through assessment, development, planning, implementation, and evaluation of competency assessment, and continuing education.Serves as a resource in the development, implementation and evaluation of clinical protocols and practice management guidelines essential to assure compliance with care standards.Collaborates with the director/manager to develop and implement an education and orientation plans.Assists in compiling and presenting optimal care standards.Assists with community based education.Duties as assigned.Required Education, License/Certification, or Work Experience:Registered Nurse (RN) - Board of Nursing - an active license in the state of practice upon hire.3-5 years of experiencePreferred Education:Bachelors of Science (BSN)Essential QualificationsThe individual must be able to work the hours specified.
