RN Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) Stone Oak Care Center 505 Madison Oak Dr. | San Antonio, TX 78258 At Touchstone Communities, we believe strong teams start with strong, supportive leaders. We’re looking for an experienced RN Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) who has successfully led large nursing teams (10+ team members) in a high-demand skilled nursing environment and values teamwork, presence, and leading by example. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who isn’t afraid to step onto the floor when needed, support their team during busy moments, and help create a positive, collaborative culture where nurses feel valued and supported. This nurse leader is a part of the on-call rotation.  What You’ll Do Partner with the Director of Nursing to support daily clinical operations in a fast-paced skilled nursing setting. Lead, mentor, and support a team of nurses and CNAs, fostering trust, accountability, and teamwork. Participate in the on-call rotation and provide leadership support during off-hours. Lead by example, stepping in to support floor staffing alongside the nursing team when needed. Promote clinical excellence, compliance, and compassionate resident care. What We’re Looking For Active Texas RN License (or Compact State RN license). Proven nurse leadership experience in skilled nursing, including leading large teams in high-acuity settings. A calm, confident leader who thrives in busy environments and supports their team through action. Strong clinical judgment and communication skills. Why Touchstone?
