Additional responsibilities include: Creating educational curriculum, present orientation programs and evaluate orientees for new graduate/new to specialty programs, labor training, and unlicensed staff educational programs. Represent Women's and Children's Services on hospital and service line committees, functions in a leadership capacity to implement new initiatives directly impacting the service. Assumes responsibility for staff communication utilizing various tools including the accountability for unit roll call system. Manages education evaluation for all staff members including skills day, exams, You Learn offerings, competency evaluation including all documentation requirements to ensure ongoing regulatory compliance. Prioritizes education offerings to meet the strategic plan of the system, organization and the service. 1. Collaborates with Director to implement educational programs for the service. 2. Advances professional practice through collaborative relationships. 3. Demonstrates ability to function as a resource to designated clinical departments. 4. Participates in activities, promotes professional growth through education initiatives. 5. Demonstrates a commitment to creating an optimal patient family experience. 6. Demonstrates supports all Staff Engagement activities. 7. Demonstrates active engagement in Magnet designation initiatives.Placement in the pay range is based on multiple factors including, but not limited to, relevant years of experience and qualifications. In addition to base pay, there may be additional compensation available for this role, including but not limited to, shift differentials, extra shift incentives, and bonus opportunities.
