We are seeking a versatile and experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) to support a small critical access hospital in Hawaii. This role is ideal for adaptable clinicians who are comfortable providing care across Emergency, Acute Care, and Long-Term Care (LTC) settings. Nurses in this environment function as true generalists, covering all patient care areas as needed.

• Provide emergency nursing care in the ER setting

• Support acute care and long-term care patients as needed based on census

• Administer medications and perform procedures for acute and LTC patients

• Serve as backup coverage across departments when ER census is low

• Deliver safe, patient-centered care in a multi-functional clinical setting

• Accurately document patient care using EPIC EMR

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams

• Active Hawaii RN license required by start of assignment

• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department experience required

• Ability to work independently in a critical access hospital environment

• Flexibility to float between ER, Acute Care, and LTC areas

• Current BLS/BCLS certification required

• Schedule: 6 12-hour shifts per two-week period (72 hours)

• Every 3rd weekend off

• Holiday coverage required
