Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to provide high-quality care in a combined Emergency Room and Intensive Care Unit setting. This night-shift role requires strong critical-thinking skills, the ability to manage acute and emergent patient conditions, and flexibility in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct nursing care to emergency and critically ill patients.

  • Perform rapid assessments, triage, and interventions in emergency situations.

  • Monitor, assess, and manage critically ill patients in the ICU setting.

  • Administer medications, initiate IV therapy, and operate critical care equipment.

  • Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to implement care plans.

  • Accurately document patient care using the EMR system.

  • Maintain compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and patient safety standards.

Shift & Schedule:

  • Night shift: 7:00 PM 7:30 AM

  • Three 12-hour shifts per week

  • 36 hours per week guaranteed

  • Holiday coverage required

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Minimum of 3 years of recent ER and/or ICU nursing experience.

  • Active California RN license (required).

  • Strong clinical skills in emergency and critical care settings.

  • Ability to work independently during night shifts.

Certifications Required:

  • BLS and ACLS (required)

Additional Requirements:

  • Proof of negative TB screening within 12 months prior to contract start.

  • Experience with CPSI/Evident EMR preferred.
