Registered Nurse- Intensive Care Unit (Night Shift)

• Location: Laconia, NH 03246
• Duration: 13-week Contract
• Shift: 12-hr Nights | 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
• Weekly Pay: $2,088 - $2,232; (Negotiable based on experience)

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) team for a 13-week night shift contract in Laconia, NH. The ideal candidate is a strong, independent clinician with the ability to manage a diverse and complex patient population in a fast-paced critical care environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to critically ill patients in the ICU.
• Perform ongoing assessment, treatment, and evaluation of patients' conditions.
• Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and operate critical care equipment.
• Ensure adherence to hospital policies, procedures, and safety standards.
• Float as needed to ED (not limited to ICU holds), Stepdown, or Med-Surg units with a modified assignment.

Required Requirements:

• Experience: Minimum 2 3 years of recent ICU experience required.
  • Candidates with CVICU (Cardiovascular ICU) experience.
  • Must demonstrate ability to work independently, handle complex cases, and adapt quickly.
• Licensure: Active NH RN License or Compact RN License required (license verification needed).
• Certifications:
  • Required: BLS, ACLS
  • Preferred: TNCC, PALS, CCRN
• EMR Experience: Cerner experience preferred, not required.
