Rn Infusion Skilled Apply
Coastline Wellness is seeking a compassionate and skilled RN of infusion experience to work along side of a solo provider assistant to join our healthcare team. In this role, you will support both infusion therapy and provider services, ensuring that patients receive high-quality care in a comfortable and supportive environment. Your responsibilities will include administering intravenous treatments, monitoring patient progress, and assisting providers in patient assessments and procedures. In addition, you will be assisiting with charting vitals, responding to prior authorizations using Cover My Meds, pharmacies, and patient medication refills or questions. Responsibilities:
- Administer IV infusions and manage infusion pumps, ensuring patient safety and comfort
- Monitor patients for adverse reactions during infusion therapies and report any changes in condition
- Skilled in drawing blood, to obtain samples for laboratory testing
- Assist providers with patient assessments, procedures, and treatment plans
- Educate patients on infusion therapies and medication administration
- Manage inventory and supplies for infusion therapy and provider services
- Maintain accurate and comprehensive medical records in compliance with healthcare regulations
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure coordinated patient care
- Provide exceptional customer service and support to patients and families
- Participate in ongoing education and training to enhance clinical skills
Requirements
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state
- Previous experience in infusion therapy preferred
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required, Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification is a plus
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- Effective communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team
- Compassionate approach to patient care and strong commitment to patient well-being
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
Benefits
Starting salary $32hr, start immediately working part-time Tuesdays and Thursdays 8:30am - 4:00pm with more days as needed and as appointments grow.
