Job Summary:
1. Oversee patient care provided by the healthcare team using a professional practice model.
2. Conduct detailed clinical assessments, prioritize patient and family needs, create, implement, and evaluate care plans.
3. Build relationships, manage discomfort, and maintain professionalism in therapeutic connections with patients and families.
4. Create care plans reflecting values to resolve issues.
5. Educate patients, families, nurses, and community members to empower them with knowledge for better healthcare choices.
6. Regularly assess and document learning needs.
7. Collaborate with colleagues and community to create a care plan.
8. Delegate tasks carefully and follow up promptly.
9. Utilize different strategies for problem-solving with patients, families, and staff.
10. Prioritize safety, effectiveness, and efficiency in patient care planning and delivery.
11. Achieve goals through teamwork, recognize contributions, commit to growth, and contribute to peers' development.
12. Show community service commitment.
13. Understand and adhere to nursing and patient care standards, as well as procedures.
14. Have knowledge of nursing laws, rules, standards, and guidelines in your area.
15. Understand hospital procedures and rules.
16. Proficient in medical terms, with a focus on health, disease prevention, management, common meds, and their side effects.
17. Respect for medical and professional nursing ethics and patient privacy rights.
18. Possess exceptional communication skills, allowing for clear expression of thoughts both verbally and in writing.

20. Have excellent problem-solving capabilities, driving effective critical thinking.
21. Basic computer skills, encompassing areas such as Microsoft Office, information security, scheduling and payroll systems, electronic medical documentation, and email.
22. Graduate of an accredited program with a specialized field of study in nursing.
23. Hold a current and valid nursing license.
24. Must have BLS certification or get it within 30 days of starting in this role.
