Job Summary Clinical Nurse (Operating Room) Tuba City Regional Health Care

- Licensure:
- Valid, current RN license from any U.S. state, Puerto Rico, or U.S. territory (not limited to AZ license)
- Certifications Required:
- Basic Life Support (BLS) American Heart Association
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) American Heart Association
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) within 6 months of hire
- NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) within 6 months of hire
- Certified Perioperative Nurse (CNOR) within 1 year of hire
- Trauma Nurse Core Course (TNCC) within 2 years of hire
- Education:
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing
- Experience:
- Minimum 2 years clinical nurse and/or operating room experience
- Key Responsibilities:
- Provide perioperative patient care using the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, evaluation)
- Circulate in all specialty areas: Orthopedics, ENT, GYN/OB, General, Ophthalmology, and Dental
- Encouraged to gain scrubbing experience
- Prepare for emergency cases and work varied/on-call hours as needed
- Work Schedule:
- 10-hour shifts, 6:30am 5:00pm, 4 days per week, plus on-call
- Work Environment:
- JCAHO-accredited regional hospital (73 beds) serving diverse Native American communities
- Multidisciplinary team including surgeons, nurses, dentists, and specialists
- Other Details:
- Shared housing available for $600/month (limited, no family or pets allowed)
- Located in Tuba City, AZ on the Colorado Plateau (semi-desert, culturally rich environment)
