Job Description :
- Position: RN Psych Child/Adolescent
- Location: Rochester NY
- Unit: Child and adolescent psychiatry (ages 5-18) for patients experiencing acute mental health crises
- Schedule: 36 or 48 hours/week; rotating day/evening/night shifts; weekends, holidays, and on-call as needed
- Focus: Stabilization through group therapy (Activities Therapy, Mindfulness, Wellness, Coping Skills) and psychopharmacological interventions
- Team: Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to achieve patient goals and deliver safe, therapeutic care
- Required Qualifications:
- Active NYS RN License
- Minimum 2 years pediatric mental health experience
- BLS certification (American Heart Association only)
- Preferred Qualifications:
- CPI Blue Card (Crisis Prevention Intervention)
- Experience in a large, academic medical center
- Telemetry experience (nice to have)
- Other Requirements:
- Willingness to work blocked weekend nights
- Ability to obtain TB skin test
