Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse to provide care for adult psychiatric patients. The RN will deliver safe, effective, and patient-centered care in a behavioral health setting, collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to support recovery and wellness.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct nursing care to adult psychiatric patients, including assessment, medication administration, and monitoring of mental and physical status.

  • Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with the treatment team.

  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the EMR system.

  • Respond appropriately to behavioral changes, de-escalate crises, and ensure patient safety.

  • Participate in team meetings, care planning sessions, and interdisciplinary rounds.

  • Support patients' emotional, social, and behavioral needs through therapeutic interactions.

  • Adhere to hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.

Shift & Schedule:

  • Available all shifts

  • Holiday coverage pay based on hours worked

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Minimum 2 years of nursing experience, preferably in psychiatric or behavioral health care.

  • Must hold an active state RN license.

  • Knowledge of psychiatric nursing principles, crisis intervention, and patient safety protocols.

  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with patients, families, and colleagues.

Certifications Required:

  • BLS/ACLS required

  • Preferred: PALS

Additional Information:

  • EMR experience preferred (Cerner).

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, behavioral health environment.
