RN Supervisor Apply
Job Title- Registered Nurse Supervisor (RN SUP)
Shift- 3pm-11:30pm
Contract - =11 weeks (Possible Extension)
Pay rate - $51/hr. $53/hr. (As per experience)
Certification - Active RN License
Location - Barre, VT
Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership and supervision to nursing staff in a healthcare setting
- Oversee the delivery of patient care and ensure adherence to quality standards
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans
- Monitor patient progress and make adjustments to treatment plans as necessary
- Conduct regular rounds to assess patient needs and address any concerns or issues
- Assist with complex medical procedures such as cardiac catheterization, spinal taps, and acute pain management
- Utilize electronic medical record systems such as Cerner to document patient information accurately
- Coordinate discharge planning and ensure smooth transitions for patients leaving the facility
Skills:
- Strong clinical knowledge and experience in various medical procedures
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities effectively
- Proficient in utilizing electronic medical record systems for documentation purposes
- Familiarity with discharge planning processes and resources available for patients
- Experience working with patients of all ages, including children, is preferred
- Ability to triage patients based on their needs and urgency
