We are seeking an experienced Utilization Review RN to perform utilization management responsibilities in a healthcare setting. This contract role offers guaranteed hours and is ideal for RNs with a background in utilization review and patient care coordination.

• Conduct utilization review assessments in accordance with regulatory and facility standards.

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure appropriate patient care and resource allocation.

• Document clinical findings, review patient charts, and maintain accurate records in EMR systems.

• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, state regulations, and accreditation standards.

• Support patient care decisions by providing timely and evidence-based recommendations.

• Active California RN license required.

• BLS and ACLS certifications required.

• Minimum of 3 years of nursing experience, preferably in utilization review or related areas.

• Proof of negative TB screen within the past 12 months.

• Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and documentation skills.

• Ability to work holiday coverage as needed.

• Familiarity with EMR systems (CPSI/Evident or similar) preferred.

• Bilingual skills not required.
