General job duties. Gerneral MS patients. Collaborates with other inter-professional colleagues, including physicians, to plan, implement and evaluate care. Demonstrates competency and practices within the full scope of nursing expertise/knowledge and utilizes appropriate age and population specific standards as designated in their assigned clinical setting. Equipment utilized in the unit/dept. EMR-Epic, AccuDose, Bladder Scanner, Phillips monitors, Telemetry Required skills and minimum years of experience. 1 yr med/surg experience. Specific licensures and certifications/registrations required. BLS - must be AHA. ND or compact state RN license. Shift or schedule requirements. 12 hr shifts, D/N, EOW, EOH Floating to over units/departments. Home unit 2W but can float to any med/surg unit on any campus as needed. Bed size/number of rooms for this unit/dept. 10 bed department Nurse to patient ratio of this unit. 5:1 day shift and 6:1 night shift Dress Code: Navy blue scubs Tell us about the unit/department specific training and orientation program. 1 day lead center training 2- 12 hr shifts on the unit with a preceptor |
Comments:12 hour shifts. Every other weekend and holiday. 36 or 48 hours (OT billed after 48). Will float to all MS units on all 3 campuses in Fargo as needed. Cannot take a traveler who lives within 60 miles of the facility. Can take someone who lives 61 to 80 miles at the local rate. Local rate reduces the client rate by xx8.00/hour.
