This role will also include programming robots at manufacturing or vendor facilities, supporting equipment preparation, other production related studies, development of Weld Schedules, and department efficiency/improvement initiatives.About the Role: What you’ll be doingCreate 3D concept welding equipment and end of arm tooling modelsConduct DE study to produce virtual robot programs and confirm new model process feasibilityConfirm Digital Factory Condition for accuracyCreate Weld Schedule Instruction Sheets and provide other supplemental documents to customersConduct New Model process planning (DE) studiesSupport Machine Seibi in new model preparation activities, including programming robots at vendor locations or manufacturing centersPrepare and confirm new or modified Body Weld equipment at the vendors or manufacturing centersDevelop equipment countermeasures during planning/set-up/trial phasesQualifications: What you bring (min)Experience with virtual robotic programming using any 3D simulation software.Associate technical degree (or higher), or 1 year of equivalent technical work experienceExperience with robotic programming of industrial robots using teach pendants/coding.Ability to travel at times (including international travel).Ability to work overtime, including weekends and holidaysProficient with Microsoft products (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook).Required Skills: What you may bring (bonus)Bachelor’s Degree (or higher) in an Engineering/Technical (Carott3) experience.Visual Components (BisFactory) experience.Body Shop Project / Mass Production Experience.
