We are seeking an experienced RPA Developer / Automation Engineer to analyze, develop, and support robotic process automation (RPA) solutions across IT and business functions. This role will be responsible for designing, coding, testing, and maintaining automation solutions while supporting the overall RPA infrastructure and architecture. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, hands-on RPA experience, and the ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams to deliver scalable automation solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and implement RPA bots using Automation Anywhere or similar platforms (UiPath, Blue Prism, Kofax) following established development standards
• Analyze, maintain, and support existing RPA applications for IT and business users
• Monitor bot performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement enhancements to optimize efficiency
• Review bot scripts developed by onsite and offshore teams to ensure quality and adherence to best practices
• Identify and resolve automation defects, including debugging, testing fixes, and deploying solutions
• Partner with business stakeholders to analyze requirements and recommend optimal automation solutions
• Conduct proof of concepts (POCs) to evaluate automation feasibility and business value
• Support RPA infrastructure, including capacity planning and disaster recovery strategies
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, vendors, and global development partners to deliver high-quality automation solutions
• Document technical designs, processes, and implementation details

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• 7+ years of software development experience
• 2+ years of hands-on experience with RPA tools such as Automation Anywhere (preferred), UiPath, Blue Prism, or Kofax
• 2+ years of project management experience
• Strong experience with system analysis, requirements gathering, and application implementation
• Experience with testing methodologies, test case creation, and execution
• Working knowledge of systems development standards and procedures
• Basic understanding of cybersecurity concepts related to automation
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint)

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Document Automation and/or Agentic AI
• Technical experience with SQL, Java/Web technologies, REST APIs
• Familiarity with Agile or Kanban methodologies
• Experience with tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Bamboo, ANT
• Knowledge of responsive/adaptive development and iSeries DB2
