SecurID is looking for a talented and enthusiastic Principal Software Engineer to help architect and develop our hybrid cloud and mobile identity assurance service, SecurID Cloud Authentication Service. RSA Engineers use state-of-the-art technologies, tools and automation systems along with their ingenuity to design advanced solutions for Enterprise Security. Come join us!

Required Education & Experience

  • Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science or Engineering
  • Exceptional Object-oriented development skills with Java
  • Experience leading design, implementation and testing of Cloud services and applications
  • Experience in the development lifecycle of at least one large-scale server-side project (preferably SaaS product)
  • Experience working with Relational databases (e.g., MySQL, SQL Server)
  • Strong fundamentals in data structures and algorithms
  • Proficiency with Unix/Linux
  • Ability to solve performance issues and constraints. Good understanding of scaling, throughput and latency
  • Enthusiasm for ensuring thorough automated test coverage for your own deliverables
  • Excellent written & verbal communication skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced team-oriented environment
  • 8+ years of experience

Experience and knowledge in the following technologies is a plus

  • Cloud based development (e.g., Azure, AWS)
  • Spring Framework and Spring Boot
  • Security concepts such as Authentication, Authorization, SAML
  • UI development using JavaScript (e.g., Bootstrap, Backbone, AngularJS)
  • Hibernate, JPA
  • Experience developing public REST APIs
  • Caching frameworks such as Redis
  • Testing frameworks (e.g., JUnit, TestNG, Selenium)
  • Directories (e.g., Active Directory, Oracle Directory Server)
  • Familiarity with Git, Gradle, Maven and Jenkins
