Duties & Responsibilities

Functions include but are not limited to the following. Must be able to move freely between tasks depending on workload, season, etc.

  • Maintain EHS Management databases and produce reports as needed.
  • Administer our driver management program maintaining the integrity of accurate and timely data and monitor driver licenses.
  • Manage the EHS SharePoint site including updating policies, EHS Programs, training calendar and contact information.
  • Translate safety documents and policies from English to Spanish
  • Administer the company’s safety recognition programs.
  • Support the drug screen program by scheduling DOT/ Non-Dot/ FAA controlled substance & alcohol testing.
  • Schedule, track, and document employee safety training.
  • Prepare EHS communications, safety alerts, and compliance reminders.
  • Monitor completion of corrective actions from inspections, audits, and incident investigations.
  • Maintain EHS files, records, and compliance systems.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualification Requirements

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, shall, and/ or ability required. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

High School diploma or GED equivalent and 1-2 years of experience in administrative support, agriculture, and/or operations field(s); or equivalent combination of education and experience.

SPECIFIC KNOWELDGE, SKILLS, LICENSES, AND/OR CERTIFICATIONS:

  • Bilingual in English and Spanish required.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office: Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
  • Outstanding written communication skills
  • Excellent organizational and time-management abilities
  • Basic knowledge of agriculture or technical fields preferred.


Pay Range: $20-$24 per hour. Final compensation will be dependent upon skills & experience.


Physical Demands

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit, stand, walk, talk and hear. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. The position is primarily office based but may occasionally involve field or outdoor work. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, and the ability to adjust focus.

Environment

This job operates predominately in an office environment. This role will be exposed to noise levels low – moderate and moderate temperatures.
