Our client is a Minnesota company who manufactures and markets many branded consumer products. Their history dates to back the mid 1800's.
If you are looking for an opportunity to contribute your skills and knowledge our client is looking for a Safety and Environmental Coordinator team member who has experience supporting safety and/or environmental programs in a consumer-packaged goods company.
- Creating and updating comprehensive energy control documentation
- Optimizing record keeping systems
- Enhancing site compliance through improved environmental safety data sheets and accurate chemical inventory management
- Improve naming convention and streamline access to shared documents
- Equipment identification and labeling to Safety & Environmental standards
- Streamline chemical inventory lists and streamline access to Safety Data Sheets leveraging existing programs
- Develop basic Power Point resource for Environmental trainings
- Support creation of digital processes for inspections
Salary: $28/ hr (6-12 month contract)
Schedule: FT 40 hrs, Mon-Fri, 7am 5pm
Location: Minneapolis, MN

QUALIFICATIONS
- High School Degree w/ 3+ years of directly relatable experience Required!
- 2-year Degree A Plus!
- Previous experience - Safety and/or Environmental Coordinator position
- Proficient in MS Office Software (Excel, MS Word, PowerPoint)
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Ability to prioritize tasks
- Detail oriented
- Team Player - ability to partner and connect with other departments and team members
- Must be authorized to work in the US for any employer
- The position is subject to passing a background check and drug screen
