Job Description

A construction and industrial services organization is looking to add a Safety Coordinator to support active project sites with a strong balance of field execution and administrative compliance. This role will be based primarily in the field with office-based reporting and program support, offering high visibility and influence across project teams. This person will be tasked with strengthening safety performance, ensuring regulatory compliance, and reinforcing a proactive safety culture. It’s a strong opportunity for a safety professional who enjoys hands-on leadership while contributing to continuous improvement at a program level.


The Role


  • Lead site-level safety execution through audits, inspections, hazard identification, and follow-up on corrective actions.
  • Partner with project management and field leadership to enforce safety policies and coach teams on best practices.
  • Facilitate safety meetings, orientations, and briefings while maintaining documentation for audit readiness.
  • Manage incident investigations, OSHA logs, and required safety reporting, identifying trends and improvement opportunities.
  • Support pre-job planning, subcontractor onboarding, and ongoing safety program implementation across assigned projects.


The Candidate


  • OSHA 30-Hour and First Aid/CPR/AED certifications required; STS-C required with CHST preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a safety-related field preferred, or equivalent experience.
  • 3–5 years of construction or industrial safety experience (5+ years in lieu of degree).
  • Strong working knowledge of OSHA regulations, audits, and incident investigation processes.
  • Effective communicator with the ability to influence field teams; proficient in Microsoft Office and able to travel up to 50%.
