Our client, a leader in the industrial sector, is seeking a Safety Coordinator to join their team. As a Safety Coordinator, you will be part of the Operationsteam supporting various operational initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, excellent leadership abilities, and a proactive approach to problem-solving, which will align successfully with the organization's goals. Job Title: Safety Coordinator What’s the Job? THIS IS A NIGHT SHIFT SCHEDULE, 6 days a week, 12 hr shifts (Mon‑Sat 6pm‑6am) plus Sunday as needed. 60 hrs/week with possible 60+ hrs/week. Position Summary The Safety Coordinator ensures workplace safety by developing and implementing safety policies and procedures, conducting training, and monitoring compliance. Responsibilities Develop and implement safety policies and procedures. Conduct safety training and drills. Monitor and enforce compliance with safety regulations. Investigate accidents and incidents. Maintain safety records and documentation. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or related field. Knowledge of safety regulations and standards. Strong organizational and communication skills. Attention to detail. Ability to conduct training and presentations.
