This all starts with our greatest asset…our employees. What You Will Be Doing: As the Safety Data Analyst, you will be responsible for the safety intelligence function for Yancey Bros. Co.'s Environment, Health, and Safety performance systems. Primary Responsibilities: Safety Data Management; Independently develops and recommends safety program modifications based on trend analysis Performance Analytics & Trend Modeling; Advises leadership on corrective actions and provides recommendations that influence operational decisions EMR & Financial Risk Modeling Serious Injury & Fatality (SIF) Data Oversight Regulatory Reporting & Audit Support Program Effectiveness Evaluation; Advises leadership on corrective actions and provides recommendations that influence operational decisions Additional Responsibilities: Participate in required safety program and work in a safe manner. Other tasks as assigned to support the safety and environmental needs of our stores. Who We Are Looking For: To be successful in this position you should have extensive safety, environmental, and industry knowledge. The ability to use data for successful storytelling, ability to maintain confidentiality, and communicate at an executive-level are essential to this position as well. Education/Experience: Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in data analytics, industrial engineering, occupational safety, risk management , or related field. 3-5 years of experience in safety analytics, risk analysis, or industrial data modeling. Experience analyzing workers’ compensation data. Required Qualifications/Skills: Familiarity with EMR calculations Knowledge of fleet telematics data systems Analytical precision Data storytelling Strong organizational systems thinking Values: At Yancey Bros.
