Responsible for the quality control audits of all installation and repair work ensuring safety compliance as outlined by company and OSHA directives.Reviews potential subcontractors' safety policies, procedures, and safety performanceEnsure the Safety Plan is understood and implemented by all Project Managers and subcontractors.Conduct accident investigations and incident reports as needed.Develops and conducts employee safety and health training programsConducts detailed site safety and health inspectionsManages project security contracts, programs and policiesWrites detailed injury/illness reportsPrepare and enforce policies to establish a culture of health and safetyEvaluate practices, procedures and facilities to assess risk and adherence to the lawConduct training and presentations for health and safety matters and accident preventionMonitor compliance to policies and laws by inspecting employees and operationsQualificationsIdeally 5-8 years of experience prior as a Safety Manager in cell site deploymentsA minimum of 5 years' experience in the Telecom industryMust have experience as a Certified Tower Climber or Overseeing Certified Tower Climbers.Strong knowledge of OSHA Federal Regulations, state and local safety regulations, policies and procedures (Required)Must be fully proficient MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook (Required)Proven experience as Safety Director or Safety ManagerDeep understanding of legal health and safety guidelinesAbility in producing reports and developing relevant policiesGood knowledge of data analysis and risk assessmentExcellent organizational and motivational skillsOutstanding attention to detail and observation abilityExceptional communication and interpersonal abilitiesAbility to travel outside of IllinoisConcordia Wireless is a division of Concordia Group.
