Primary Duties & ResponsibilitiesPollution Control Officer (PCO)• Keep abreast of Environmental Management Bureau’s requirements on pollution control.• Monitors compliance to the requirements specified in the Environmental Compliance Certificate and the commitments stipulated in the Environmental Management and Monitoring Plans.• Review of chemical contents to be use in production prior to use such regulated/controlled chemicals under DENR-PDEA, PNP and DENR-EMB especially those listed under the Priority Chemicals List (PCL), Chemical Control Orders (CCO) and Small Quantity Importation (SQI).• Attends necessary environmental permitting/Licensing requirements of different government agencies such DENR-EMB, PDEA and PEZA.• Monitor the generation and disposal of used residual and other Hazardous waste, keep records/document of disposal, manifest form and other related supporting documents.• Monitor activities pertaining to the operation and maintenance of pollution control facilities to ensure compliance with the Effluent Standards and report monitoring results to DENR.• Ensures compliance with the requirements of PD 1586. RA 6969, RA 8749, RA 9003, RA 9275, their respective implementing rules and regulations (IRRs, and other pertinent rules and regulations).• Initiates and intensify environmental management activities including awareness campaign within their organization • Other specified duties stated from the guidelines for PCO accreditation and other duties that may be assigned from time to time with respect to this matter. Safety Officer•Support EHS Officer for the promotion and implementation of EHS management system and 5S policy in the Company to sustain and demonstrate EHS continuous improvement.•Support EHS Officer in the Maintenance and Execution of ISO 45001-2018 requirements including H&S program.•Lead the implementation of company-wide 5S and Safety Good Catch Program.•Monitor onsite EHS activities including Contractors to ensure compliance with the EHS Permit requirement.•Work with EHS Officer to arrange EHS training and completing EHS integration task list on time and set up effective communication process.•Work with EHS Officer to drive the Emergency Response Team to coordinate emergency response efforts.•Perform the required duties set out in Rule 1047 of the DOLE OSH Standards/IRR of RA 11058 in the application of programs to remove hazards from the workplace and correct unsafe work practices, conducting accident investigations and maintaining an accident record system, coordinating all health and safety training programs and conducting health and safety inspection.Education & Experience Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's/College Degree in Engineering (Environmental/Health/Safety) or equivalent. With DENR Certificate of Accreditation as Pollution Control Officer.Must completed the required training by DOLE- 40 hrs. Basic Occupational Safety and Health SkillsKnowledgeable in ISO 45001-2018 and ISO 14001-2015 principles.Knowledgeable with DOLE, BFP, DENR, BFP, PEZA regulation in relation to environment occupational safety and health.Knowledgeable in processing applicable Permits/License/Certificate to DENR-EMB, LLDA , PDEA and PNP-FEO such ECC, DP, SQI, CPECS, LTPAt least 1 year of solid 5S Program implementationAt least 1-years relevant experience in environmental and occupational health and safety management.Good oral and written communication skillsPositive and able to immediately respond to environment, health and safety concern. Leadership skills to drive environmental health and safety initiatives and foster a culture of environmental health and safety responsibility.
