Heidelberg Materials North America operates over 450 locations across the U.S. and Canada with approximately 9,000 employees.Based out of our Jamesville, NY quarry, this position will support work performed for our Micron Project.What You'll Be Doing:Champion safety initiatives to ensure compliance with company standards and regulatory requirementsConduct audits, inspections, and risk assessments to identify and mitigate hazardsDeliver engaging safety training and promote a culture of continuous improvementCollaborate with operations teams to implement proactive safety solutionsAnalyze safety data and trends to drive strategic decision-makingWhat Are We Looking For:Strong knowledge of safety regulations, compliance standards, and best practicesAbility to influence and engage employees at all levels in safety programsSkilled in problem-solving and implementing practical solutions in dynamic environmentsEffective communicator with strong presentation and facilitation skillsCommitment to fostering a proactive safety culture and continuous improvementWork Environment:This role involves working in industrial and construction settings, including cement plants, quarries, and terminals.
