If your goals and values align with Honda's, we want you to join our team to Bring the Future!Job PurposeThe Safety Specialist applies their scientific and practical knowledge of the Safety compliance field in order to innovate, design, and improve systems, processes, equipment, and tools in their assigned areas to improve the Safety characteristics in alignment with daily operations, new model, business plan, and/or innovation to achieve or exceed targets and promote safety excellence.Key AccountabilitiesLead department and support Plant themes and complex improvement projects.Proactively cycle PDCA to reduce injuries and hazards and ensure continuous improvement of safety characteristics of assigned areas.Leverage Safety expertise to support Department Leaders, production safety advocates and/or safety committees to achieve self-sustaining safety culture and high level of safety performance.Accurately interpret and apply the Honda Safety Management manual including NA and HDMA policies and procedures.
