Safety Specialist 

Malace|HR is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Safety Specialist to join our team. This role is critical to ensuring a safe working environment for all employees and upholding our commitment to safety standards and regulations.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain safety policies and procedures tailored to operational needs.
  • Facilitate training sessions for employees on safety practices, emergency response, and accident prevention.
  • Investigate incidents and near-misses, documenting findings and recommending corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
  • Collaborate with local management and employees to promote a culture of safety across the organization.
  • Prepare and present safety reports to management and regulatory bodies as needed.
  • Stay current with industry standards and safety regulations, making adjustments to policies and procedures as required.
  • Assist in the development of safety improvement initiatives and programs to enhance workplace safety.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field.
  • Certifications such as OSHA 30, OSHA10, or equivalent safety training certification.
  • Strong knowledge of federal and state safety regulations and standards.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present safety information clearly.
  • Proficient in using safety management software and tools.

Desired Experience:

  • Minimum of 1 years of experience in a safety role within a manufacturing or logistics environment
  • Proven track record of successfully managing safety programs and reducing workplace incidents.
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement safety solutions.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to influence others on safety matters.


Job Location: Ontario, CA
Pay Range: $40-45/hour
Shift: Sunday-Wednesday, 5pm-3:30am
