Job Summary (List Format):

- Location Requirement: Must be local to Safford, AZ, and able to report onsite daily at 8:00 am; remote/telecommuting is not permitted.
- Travel: Extensive daily travel throughout Arizona using an ADOT vehicle; occasional overnight stays for training/coverage.
- Certification & Background: Must have current AZ Driver's License with good driving record (39-month review required); must achieve ACJIS Certification and pass a full Arizona Criminal Justice Investigation including fingerprint and background check.
- Technical Support: Provide hands-on server and desktop support, troubleshoot hardware and software issues, and support customers on the ADOT network.
- Customer Service: Act as the face of ITG, directly assisting internal customers and serving as a liaison to other ADOT divisions.
- Repairs & Maintenance: Perform warranty and non-warranty repairs on computers and printers; conduct preventive maintenance on client and server hardware/software.
- Training: Teach customers and new staff how to use and troubleshoot PC hardware/software and network peripherals.
- System Management: Install/configure PC hardware, software, and peripherals; implement software patches, security fixes, and validate system modifications.
- Deployments: Assist with major hardware/software deployments and assigned project tasks.
- Monitoring: Monitor system reliability/availability and ensure compliance with standards for software and documentation.
- Meetings & Training: Attend staff meetings; complete mandatory and assigned training classes.
- Technical Skills Required:
- General infrastructure and application knowledge
- Familiarity with ticketing systems and department procedures
- Proficiency in Microsoft products (OS & Office), Google Suite, and computer hardware configuration/repair
- Knowledge of Ethernet networking and IT industry standards
- Advanced troubleshooting, problem-solving, and analysis skills
- Experience with Active Directory, Windows 10, Server 2008/2012, backup solutions, and MS System Center Operations Manager 2012 R2
- Experience: Minimum 4 years of current IT experience required.
- Education: Associate or Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
