Job Summary

The Rootist is looking for an enthusiastic, driven and customer-focused Sales and Education Specialist. This role will be responsible for building brand awareness and driving sales revenue through motivating and educating beauty advisors within their assigned area. In addition, this individual will exemplify and champion The Rootist innovation and brand values serving as a compelling advocate for our in-store presence and uphold the highest standards for client experience. This position will have a significant impact on our retail sales performance and brand awareness at Sephora.

Responsibilities

  • Build, establish and nurture strong relationships with Sephora BAs to successfully build and grow brand awareness and product sales.
  • Achieve assigned sales targets in designated Sephora doors.
  • Master knowledge of The Rootist brand, products, beliefs and confidently convey this information to consumers and beauty advisors.
  • Ability to create an inspiring and positive learning environment for all types of learners.
  • Maintain a record of all store visits and events while providing consistent feedback to leadership.
  • Uphold the visual standards of The Rootist retail area.

Who You Are

  • Inspiring, proactive, and experienced in retail sales and education. You keep up to date on beauty and wellness trends and have a proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales goals.
  • Relationship-savvy and service-orientated. You love being on the sales floor connecting with people, motivating others, achieving targeted goals and helping teams succeed.
  • High comfort level presenting to various size audiences. You love being a storyteller. Whether you are talking about a brand, product, or selling a strategic initiative, you can weave together a cohesive and clear story that your audience understands.
  • A team player who brings positive energy to everything you do. You thrive in a fast-paced environment in a dynamic role that can make a big impact on both people and the planet.

Requirements

  • 1-2 years of beauty industry sales experience, with experience at Sephora.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Proven history of reaching and exceeding sales targets.
  • Ability to accommodate up to 100% travel. Have a valid driver’s license and be able to easily commute within assigned area.
  • Must be available to work a flexible schedule with weekends and holidays required.
