Sales Account Executive - Heath and Human Services (HHS) - Full Time - Remote We are looking for a seasoned sales or health and human services professional passionate about high-quality child welfare services to help us capitalize on momentum building within our HHS vertical. Our AI-enabled platform has a proven value proposition among state and local governments adopting and maintaining evidence-based practices (EBPs) under the Family First Prevention Services Act. Our overarching goal is to support the child welfare workforces tasked with delivering evidence-based services to the children, youth, and families they serve. As a Sales Account Executive, your primary objective will be to leverage your domain expertise and relationships to understand client needs deeply, position our solutions effectively, and foster long-term partnerships. Our team strives to help each other succeed in our respective roles, and we seek someone who will contribute to our team-oriented work culture. We have a healthy flow of inbound leads and a proven outbound strategy to provide immediate opportunity for this position. Job Type / Schedule Full-time employee, 40 hours per week, remote. Lyssn, io, Inc. is based out of Seattle, WA. The majority of work can be conducted remotely through telecommuting. Travel to customer sites, conferences, and in-person Lyssn team meetings is required - approximately 6-10 times per year. Essential Functions Managing the full sales cycle for both inbound and outbound leads within our East Coast HHS territory Executing an established, strategic sales plan and working collaboratively with the rest of the team to share best practice strategies and learnings to achieve team goals. Prospecting, pitching, and closing new partners, both inbound and outbound, to hit individual and team sales targets Utilizing your extensive domain knowledge to engage and build strong, trusted relationships with key decision-makers across government systems Collaborating with our interdisciplinary team and external partners to develop and initiate tailored SOWs and implementation plans Managing contracting activities Providing accurate and timely customer/prospect, pipeline, and forecast data Staying abreast of industry trends, regulatory changes, and competitive developments affecting the government technology landscape Requirements Candidates are required to demonstrate the following skills 8-10 years of direct practice or sales experience within state or local child welfare, juvenile justice, or related health and human services domains. Five or more years in a management or leadership role preferred Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey technical concepts to non-technical audiences Proficiency in using CRM software (e.g., Hubspot) to manage and track sales activities In-depth understanding of government procurement processes, regulations, and compliance requirements, including knowledge of key decision-maker roles and priorities when making purchasing decisions Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, Political Science, Social Work, or a related field, preferred Additional Requirements: Exemplary teamwork and collaboration skills. You take accountability and contribute to team success. Strong foundation in client presentations and meetings Understanding of large-scale EBP implementations and evaluations, including activities such as fidelity monitoring. Knowledge of implementation science and FFPSA legislation, a plus Proven track record of success in enterprise SaaS sales, with a demonstrable portfolio of achievements with state and local governments A strong network of contacts and relationships within the state and local government sector, particularly with key decision-makers and influencers Salary Range The base salary range is $80,000 to $125,000, plus uncapped commissions and bonus potential. Compensation is commensurate with experience. When hitting sales targets, OTE is $190,000 to $245,000, with the opportunity to exceed that estimate. Candidates with sales and HHS or child welfare experience would fall in the upper range. New Lyssn employees may be granted stock options (subject to board approval).
