Sales Account Executive Location: New Sharon, IA Sales – 3D Printing Full‑time: Monday‑Friday 8:00am – 5:00pm RP America is an industry leader that specializes in sales of industrial 3D printers, materials and accessories, and is a leading expert in large‑format polymer additive manufacturing. We are seeking a motivated full‑time Sales Account Manager to join our dynamic team. NOTE: This is an in‑person role at our headquarters near New Sharon, Iowa. Applicants should reside within a 40‑mile radius of New Sharon, IA. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with RP America, the top service distributor in Additive Manufacturing. We operate within North America and are looking to add to our growing team. Responsibilities Generate revenue by soliciting and obtaining orders, understanding and interpreting technical requirements, providing technical information, and developing accounts. Assess competitors by analyzing and summarizing competitor information and trends and identifying sales opportunities. Develop sales opportunities by researching and identifying potential accounts, solicitingnew accounts, building rapport, providing technical information and explanations, and preparing quotations. Close new accounts by answering telephone, fax, and e‑mail inquiries and verifying and entering information. Fill orders by transferring orders to fulfillment, communicating expected delivery date, and explaining stock‑outs. Develop accounts by checking customer’s buying history, suggesting related and new items, and explaining technical features. Maintain and improve quality results by following standards and recommending improved policies and procedures. Update job knowledge by studying new product descriptions and participating in educational opportunities. Accomplish department and organization goals by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests. Explore opportunities to add value to job accomplishments. Qualifications / Skills Meeting sales goals Closing skills Prospecting skills Technical understanding Building relationships People skills Data entry skills Customer focus Professionalism Motivation for sales Requirements 2 – 3 years of high‑level sales experience in additive manufacturing. Strong technical sales skills with the ability to understand the needs of our customers and promote our best‑in‑class products. Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with clients and team members. Ability to analyze data and market trends for strategic decision‑making. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word, with ability to type at least 50 wpm with 95% accuracy. Strong proficiency in computer usage, email and other office and phone systems. Benefits Health, dental, and vision insurance RP America pays 50% – 70% of health insurance, dependent upon the plan chosen Supplemental insurance available, such as short‑term disability, accident, life, etc. Nine paid holidays Up to twelve days of PTO accrual during first year of employment PTO increases based on length of employment, up to 23 days for 10 years and over SIMPLE IRA retirement plan (RP America matches a percentage of contributions) Health savings account (for high‑deductible health plan option only) Bereavement leave Commission plan Wage: $75,000 – $100,000 annually, based on experience/qualifications Actual pay offered will vary depending on multiple factors which may include, without limitation, job function, work experience, specialized skills, training, education, and certifications.
