Sales Account ExecutiveThe Sales Account Executive plays a pivotal role in identifying and securing profitable new business within an assigned geographic area. We seek individuals who are highly motivated, experienced in hunting, managing, and closing new businesses, and thrive in a fast-paced, high-energy sales environment. This role offers a rewarding opportunity to join a dynamic sales team and make a significant impact on the growth and success of the client.Responsibilities include:Meeting sales and profit goals as assigned by sales managementCalling on new business within geographic territory to present programsBuilding the sales pipeline required for the region to achieve the business planAcquiring new business in the channels profiled as target marketsPlanning and executing sales objectives for each account in concert with company-wide sales and profitability objectivesCreating a mutually beneficial partnership with the customerWriting proposals and developing acquisition strategiesAchieving targeted (8-10) new appointments per weekScheduling follow-up appointments as needed to secure new businessExecuting scheduled appointments and following up on sales leadsExecuting (8-10) cold calls (introductory visits) each week, around scheduled appointments (new and follow up sales calls)Improving close rates via leveraging best practices and the Farmer Brothers Way to SellQualifications include:Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience required3+ years of solid new business sales experience requiredPrevious experience in foodservice preferredProven successful negotiation experience requiredExperience with cold calling requiredExperience with hunting for new salesProficient in operating Windows and associated Microsoft Office applications, including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.Additional Information:MorganHCM provides equal employment opportunities (EEO) to all employees and applicants for employment without regard to race, color, religion, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, genetic information, marital status, amnesty, or status as a covered veteran in accordance with applicable federal, state and local laws.
