Job Description

A machine/tooling components manufacturer near the Bloomfield, CT area is seeking a Sales Account Manager. This position will focus on both business development and account management. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in Outside Sales – preferably with CNC/Tooling machinery and components.


COMMISSION INCLUDED (.5% of total sales)

This is a full-time direct-hire position with excellent benefits including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, 401 (K), paid holidays & vacation.


Responsibilities:

  • Focus on creating new customer base
  • Regular communication with prospective & new customers
  • Handle customer sales orders and update price lists
  • Communicate customer requirements with internal departments
  • Create quotes based on customer requirements and company policy
  • Address customer questions/concerns


Requirements:

  • 2 years technical degree (Bachelor’s preferred)
  • Minimum 5 years’ sales experience (CNC/Tooling related is preferred)
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Open to 50-70% travel
  • Strong Microsoft Office knowledge
  • Attention to detail & strong organizational skills
  • Japanese language/culture experience is a plus (not required)
