Job Summary As a sales associate you will be the face of our company, highlighting our brand and building our reputation for excellent customer service. You will assist customers, recognize their needs, and help them understand our products and services. Your role requires a positive, outgoing nature, willingness to learn about our offerings, and the ability to articulate our purpose clearly and professionally. Duties and Responsibilities Customer Service Proactively engage and connect with customers. Ask questions and listen to customer needs. Direct customers to merchandise and inform them about events, promotions, mobile offers, and STAR card. Build inclusive and respectful relationships, taking accountability for actions and outcomes. Organization Maintain store appearance. Sales Cross‑sell products and be familiar with store layout. Suggest latest trends and current promotions based on individual customer needs. Upsell products. Learn product features, stay updated on trends, and use company tools to provide knowledgeable service. Process cash exchanges, discounts, gift cards, credit/debit cards, and perform cash handling duties. Complete paperwork, reports, and reconciliation tasks. Inventory Manage merchandise check‑in and accurate ticketing. Dependability Adhere to the assigned work schedule and complete assignments fully. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications Basic knowledge of products and merchandise. No experience required; retail experience preferred. Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to read, write, and interpret instructional documents. Basic math functions (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division). Ability to multitask and work flexibly in a team environment. Physical demands: constant movement, talking, hearing, reaching, grabbing, standing for at least two consecutive hours; occasional stooping, kneeling, crouching; ability to lift 25–50 lbs.; indoor work with possible outdoor assignments. Enthusiastic, friendly, and energetic with a desire to provide outstanding service. Availability to work varied hours, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
