Sales EngineerWe are seeking a dynamic Sales Engineer to drive sales activity, manage key accounts, and maintain long-term customer relationships. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with Application Engineering on proposals, pricing, and technical details, and will play a pivotal role in presenting proposals, supporting contract negotiations, and resolving customer issues. Additionally, this role involves conducting customer visits, supporting training, coordinating product testing, and attending trade shows to gather market and competitive feedback. A key aspect of this position is maintaining CRM accuracy and supporting business development through customer service and technical sales.Responsibilities:Drive sales activity through prospecting, lead follow-up, opportunity management, and closing.Manage key and strategic accounts, ensuring long-term customer relationships.Collaborate with Application Engineering on proposals, pricing, and technical details.Present proposals, support contract negotiations, and resolve customer issues.Conduct customer visits, support training initiatives, and coordinate product testing.Attend trade shows to gather market and competitive feedback.Maintain CRM accuracy and contribute to business development.Essential Skills:Experience in sales or customer-facing roles.Strong communication skills.Ability to manage a territory and drive new business.Additional Skills & Qualifications:Mechanical or technical aptitude is advantageous, though a formal engineering background is not required.Work Environment:This role requires onsite work in the office with the ability to travel 10% annually. Future plans aim for travel to increase to 20% to strengthen face-to-face relationships.Job Type & Location:This is a Permanent position based out of Circle Pines, MN.Pay and Benefits:The pay range for this position is $85000.00 - $125000.00/yr. Company offers a Traditional health insurance plan, available to employees working at least 30 hours per week. This plan covers 75% of most expenses, with deductibles and co-payments required from covered individuals. With the Traditional Plan, no need to choose a primary care clinic; you may select within the specified network. Both single and family coverage are available.
