About the Company

The company is a privately held engineering and manufacturing organization specializing in the design and development of high-performance automation solutions. With more than 30 years of experience, it has partnered with customers across a wide range of industries to solve complex production challenges through dependable, purpose-engineered mechatronic systems.

Its team is composed of engineers and builders who take pride in their craft. The company values long-term, mutually beneficial relationships and measures success by the lasting positive impact its systems have on customers’ operations.

The Opportunity

The company is seeking a Sales Engineer to support the continued development of its customer base in the greater Pacific Northwest. This hands-on role combines strong engineering insight with thoughtful customer engagement. The Sales Engineer will work closely with customers to understand their applications and challenges, collaborate with internal technical teams to craft practical and innovative solutions, and guide opportunities from the initial conversation through project award.

The ideal candidate enjoys solving complex technical problems, communicating ideas clearly to a wide range of audiences, and helping customers identify effective automation strategies.

Key Responsibilities

A successful candidate will:

• Build trust with customers by understanding their production goals, challenges, and constraints.

• Translate customer requirements into clear, achievable automation and production cell concepts.

• Collaborate with engineering teams to develop accurate budgets, timelines, and proposals.

• Communicate concepts and solutions effectively—in writing, in person, and virtually.

• Serve as the technical liaison between customers and internal teams throughout project definition and kickoff.

• Travel throughout the Pacific Northwest, with occasional travel in North America or Europe for customer visits and industry events.

Ideal Candidate Profile

The individual who thrives in this role is:

• An engineer who enjoys tackling complex production problems and synthesizing mechanical, electrical, controls, and software concepts into cohesive solutions.

• Someone who values collaboration and interaction as much as technical depth, serving as a catalyst for solution ideation with customers and internal resources.

• A strong communicator who can translate technical depth into clarity and confidence for diverse audiences.

• A self-starter who finds fulfillment in crafting solutions that make a measurable positive impact on customer operations.

Why This Role Stands Out

• Opportunity to work on a diverse range of meaningful projects that leverage leading-edge technologies.

• A collaborative, experienced, and highly capable team committed to engineering excellence and quality delivery.

• Competitive compensation, comprehensive benefits, and a healthy work-life balance.

• The chance to represent an organization recognized for quality, innovation, integrity, and long-term customer partnerships.
