Freight Sales Executive

Full-Cycle Freight Sales | Uncapped Commission

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Freight Sales Executive to own the full sales cycle and drive revenue growth across our transportation solutions. This role is responsible for prospecting, closing, and growing accounts while designing freight strategies across truckload, LTL, consolidation, and brokerage services.

You will serve as a consultative partner to shippers—helping them identify the right transportation modes for their needs while building, managing, and expanding your own book of business.


What You’ll Do

  • Own the full sales cycle from prospecting through close and ongoing account management
  • Develop and execute territory or vertical growth strategies across truckload and LTL consolidation
  • Identify customer needs and design multi-mode transportation solutions that optimize cost and service
  • Generate pipeline through outbound prospecting, referrals, and existing industry relationships
  • Leverage your professional network to open doors and accelerate new customer acquisition
  • Partner with pricing and operations teams to build competitive proposals and service plans
  • Negotiate rates, contracts, and long-term agreements
  • Maintain accurate CRM activity, pipeline tracking, and forecasting
  • Conduct business reviews and expand wallet share within existing accounts
  • Consistently meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets


What We’re Looking For

  • 2–5+ years of transportation or logistics sales experience
  • Experience selling truckload, LTL, brokerage, or a combination of modes
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding quotas
  • Ability to ramp revenue quickly through existing relationships and outbound prospecting
  • Strong consultative selling and negotiation skills
  • Highly accountable, self-driven professional who operates independently
  • CRM proficiency (Salesforce preferred)


Compensation & Benefits

  • Base salary: $75,000 – $100,000 (commensurate with experience)
  • Uncapped commission
  • Significant upside tied directly to performance
  • Opportunity to build and own a long-term book of business
